The system has been created in a similar design to our 'Venom' exhaust range which removes the rear silencer but keeps the central resonated section to remove the resonation sound produced by the engine to keep cabin unwanted noise to a minimum.This system, designed for the single exit 3 door A3 2.0 TDI engines produces a slightly deeper than standard tone on idle and when under load the exhaust tone becomes more pronounced with a surge in urgency. At idle the system recorded a level of 66.7dB which then increased to 82.3dB on the static 3,000rpm sound test.
