These downpipes can only be installed in conjunction with ECU software remap. The downpipes in the “Race” variant are manufactured without a catalytic converter and therefore have no road approval (TÜV) in Germany.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNOTE:\u003c\/strong\u003e For all BMW models with European specification produced from June 2019, an OPF-Deleter is required when you install aftermarket downpipes or OPF-Delete pipes. The deleter cable deals with the limp mode sequences and error codes, which can become visible on the driver’s dashboard of your vehicle.
