Inlet adapter is\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003edesigned for fittings with a 7\/16 -20 thread. If inlet adapter is removed and needs to\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003ebe re-installed, the proper torque into the master cylinder body is 25 lb-ft.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e3. 76-Series master cylinders are shipped with AN3 plug installed into the rear outlet\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eport. If routing of the break lines out of rear ports is desired, remove plug and install\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003einto top outlet port (unless port is being used for other purposes such as for pressure\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003esensor, brake light switch, etc)\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e4. Gently depress and release the brake pedal until fluid emerges.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e4. Tighten the fitting.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e5. Select the bleeding order that fits your application from Bleeding Order\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003esection.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003eBrake Bleeding\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e1. Fill a clear bottle with enough brake fluid to keep the hose-ends\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003efully submerged.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e2. Attach the other end of the plastic bleeder hose to the caliper bleed-screw.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e3. Be sure the hoses stay submerged throughout the procedure to prevent\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003esucking air on the return stroke of the pedal.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e4. Depress the brake pedal with slow and gentle foot pressure.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e5. Open the caliper bleed-screw.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e6. Allow the pedal to drop to the fully depressed position.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e7. Close the caliper bleed-screw.\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e8.
