The M Performance steering wheel is based on the M leather steering wheel of the M3 / M4 with a diameter of 373 mm. It is covered with high-quality Alcantara and sewn with a three-colored seam in the BMW M colors. The steering wheel cover is finished with painted carbon, on which an M Performance lettering in chrome is incorporated in the paint. The steering wheel has a motorsport center marking made of leather in M Motorsport Blue.
- Sporty: the new M Performance steering wheel offers a real motorsport feeling thanks to the Alcantara as well as the center marking incorporated in M Motorsport Blue.
- Better feel and grip: Alcantara is the perfect material for sports steering wheels. There is optimal grip on the steering wheel in extreme driving situations and offers a consistently pleasant feel in all temperature conditions.
- The cover made of painted carbon looks very noble. Due to the multi-layer paint structure and the subsequent high-gloss polish, the carbon unfolds an unmistakable depth effect.
- In general, the steering wheel can be installed in all M3 and M4 vehicles.
- If installed with SA 248 (steering wheel heating), the heating function is omitted, decoding is not necessary. The switch for the steering wheel heating remains inoperative.
