Riding in the dunes is one of the best activities you can do with your UTV. One issue with riding in the dunes is the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requires all riders to have safety flags attached to their machine at all times. This means that owners have to attach a whip that extends the flag 8-feet above the ground. The universal whip is 5 feet which is within regulation. Most whip options are thin and break constantly which forces owners to repair or purchase new whips. The cheap and flimsy whips offered also don't offer much personalization and make it difficult to identify your machine from afar.
