ARD blankets isolate the heat generated by your turbocharger to reduce turbo lag, lower intake air temperature, protect and prolong vital components under the hood (reduce heat under the hood by up to 60%), and increase power.
blankets consist of an outer layer of crushed volcanic lava (nominal 1800 ° F direct heat / 2500 ° F radiated heat) formed into fabric and woven into a tight mesh weave. Calcium magnesium silicate wool (rated continuous temperature 1832 ° F / peak 2300 ° F) covered.
