It's common to find one or two lambda ports in OEM and aftermarket exhaust systems; if you need to eliminate one or more ports, the best solution is our Exoracing o2 plugs!

Our o2 plugs are CNC machined from 304 stainless steel, ensuring a perfect plug that will be resistant to corrosion for years to come.

By using a threaded o2 plug like ours, you can simply remove it if you need to use the lambda port again, unlike weld-in plugs, which are impossible to remove.

If you have an aftermarket exhaust system, you may need to either add a port to accommodate a wideband sensor or remove one of the existing ports.

Our team has developed various solutions to this issue, including our lambda o2 sensor bungs or weld-in lambda ports, which are fully compatible with the universal M18x1.5 thread standard for narrowband or wideband sensors. We have also made our o2 sensor plugs with a 19mm head, which is a common socket size you'll be able to find in most tool kits!

1. Before you start work, ensure your exhaust is cold.
2. Confirm the boss for your o2 sensor plug is the correct thread, M18x1.5.
3. Screw the plug into the boss until tight by hand
4. Ideally, using a torque wrench with a 19mm socket, tighten to 40 to 60 Nm
5. Check for exhaust leaks after fitting the bung has been completed.

• To ensure a leak free fit, ensure you follow the recommended torque settings.
• Ideally our stainless steel o2 sensor plugs will only be used in a stainless steel boss.
