The M Performance kidney grilles Iconic Glow give the vehicle a unique radiance. LED lighting exclusively sets the scene for the BMW kidney grille and the zone in front of the vehicle from opening to starting and from switching off the ignition to locking the vehicle.

For reasons of approval, the light carpet must be deactivated on one side.

The illuminated front grille has black bars and can be installed in all kidney variants (chrome, black, Cerium Gray).

To avoid reflections on the lower kidney frame and to meet the approval requirements, diffuser foils must be glued in the lower part of the kidney frame.

The illuminated front grille can be installed both for vehicles with and without iCam.

The wiring harness, the control electronics and the diffuser foils are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.

• Emphasis on the BMW icon: With the Iconic Glow front grille, you can perfectly stage the BMW air intake, the kidney grille.
• Biggest possible differentiation from the series vehicles: The overall impression of the vehicle changes due to the emphasis on the striking kidney grille in connection with the main headlights.
• The kidney lighting is active both when the vehicle is opened and in the period between "ignition off" and locking the vehicle.
• The lighting goes out automatically as soon as all doors are closed and the engine is started.
• In addition to the design aspect, the lighting also illuminates the vehicle apron. Objects or parking numbers in front of the vehicle can thus be recognized more easily.
• The lighting can withstand influences such as heat, moisture, dirt and water pressure (e.g. car wash).
• The LED lighting is integrated into the front grille in such a way that the frame and the bars are illuminated from above with white light.
• The lighting is controlled as apron lighting. The apron is also illuminated when boarding and alighting.
