The idea behind the HKS camshafts was to create something that customers would be truly satisfied with. On the surface, this appears to be an easy task, yet it is quite difficult. When the development team examined the specifics closely, the ultimate conclusion they reached was to look at the core purpose of the cam itself (to smoothly allow air into and out of the combustion chamber), and a good cam would accomplish this job as efficiently as possible.
