For mounting of 089317 0000 the original BMW part „heat protection for tank“, OEM-part-number 51 48 8 060 077 has to be used! When installing the this non-resonated cat-back front section 089317 0000 in cars with GPF a deactivation of the GPF in the engine control unit (ECU remapping) must be done in order to prevent “check engine light” warning signal and also to achieve optimised performance and throttle response.

NOTE 1: No vehicle modifications required

NOTE 2: Remus tube diameter is 84mm compared to the OE tube diameter of 80mm
