BMW really came to be recognised as producers of performance saloons after the formation of their famous M Division in the 1970’s and a real game changer for them was the launch of the E30 M3 in 1986 which went on to gain numerous championship victories in touring car racing. One of the first exhausts Scorpion developed was their own performance exhaust for the E30 M3 and at the same time Scorpion introduced the legendary DTM tailpipe to the UK market. Ever since Scorpion has been at the forefront of producing performance exhausts for BMW’s M cars and numerous others.
2001 saw the release of the BMW E46 M3 and shortly after came the Scorpion resonated cat back system. The 63.5mm/2.5” system is available in several configurations for drivers wanting to upgrade in stages. Drivers can purchase the rear silencer and centre replacement separately to accommodate for personal tuning preferences and needs. For those drivers wanting to unlock further performance we offer a Sports/De-cat downpipe increasing on the sound and driving experience of the system.
The E46 M3 system comes with 2 x twin 86mm Polished Daytona tailpipes to compliment the aesthetics of your car whilst upholding the high performance of the M car range.
