The Yaris GR is the new must-have performance car and has already proven popular with tuning enthusiasts who want to take full advantage of the Yaris GR with its motorsport genes. Cooling is an important issue here. Despite its motorsport genes. the Yaris GR engine does not have an external oil cooler. This of course has consequences. for example the oil temperature rises rapidly during sporty driving. This can lead to the engine oil no longer sufficiently lubricating the bearings. shafts. valve train. etc.... In the worst case it comes to an engine damage!
Therefore. the TurboZentrum has developed a plug & play oil cooler kit. This oil cooler kit ensures lower oil temepratures. whether on the road or race track. The kit includes all components for an assembly on the Toyota GR Yaris. Adapter plate. fittings. hoses. brackets. bolts etc. We have used only high quality components from reputable manufacturers. The oil cooler comes from Setrab with high performance core and the fittings and hoses from Red Horse Performance USA.
Compared to other vendors. our oil cooler kit has sensor connections (e.g. for oil temperature and oil pressure). Likewise. our oil cooler kit is high enough to prevent the oil filter flange from touching down even on rough roads. With other manufacturers. the oil filter sandwich adapter plate is usually so low that when touching a bump on the road the the oil filter flange breaks off!
The kit consists of:
- Oil cooler Setrab 330mm
- Oil filter adapter plate with thermostat (opens from 82°C)
- Fittings and adapters
- Reinforced hydraulic hoses with steel core and black braided nylon cover
- CNC mashined aluminum bracket for oil cooler for mounting
- Bolts and nuts
Important: It is the responsibility after the installation all plugs. clamps. fittings and all other connections to check that they are properly tightened before the vehicle is put into operation. We recommend that you check all connections at regular intervals. especially during the first few miles after an installation.
